Hocus Pocus & all things magical

Recently, I told you lovely readers that I’d bought a few things at Soap & Glory; including the gorgeous Hand Food hand cream (which I raved about in an earlier post), Glow Job moisturiser and Hocus Pocus.

Well, I’ve been using both products for a couple of week and I think it is safe to say that I LOVE all things Soap & Glory!

First up; Glow Job. Described as, “A two-in-one moisturising lotion and temporary self-tanner, Glow Job features micro Bronzeburst™ beads that ‘pop’ when you massage them, leaving you looking, healthy, refreshed, and just ever so slightly sun-kissed.”

This product is lovely, I use it after my normal moisturiser as a kind of primer and it adds a subtle (wash-off) hint of colour and plenty of ‘life’ to my skin. My own colouring is fairly pale and I don’t find this ‘too much’, but instead it is a lovely base for any foundation – or even the kind of thing you can slap on before the school run if you ‘dare to go bare’!

Secondly; Hocus Pocus. Described as, “A blast of brilliance for tired skin. An instant visual flaw-softening lotion with long-wearing LIGHTSCRAMBLE™ luminospheres. Use to diffuse the appearance of large pores, wrinkles and uneven pigmentation.”

Wow. This product is pure witchcraft, as the name suggests. I love it and it will definitely become a ‘must-have’ in my makeup bag. I use a tiny amount and blend it with my foundation. It gives my skin a ‘healthy glow’ that looks totally natural; convincing everyone (& almost myself) that I haven’t been up in the night with one or the other of the kids! I have also used it just as a highlighter on my cheek bones and underneath my eyebrow arch for an added shimmer to my evening makeup look.

The added bonus to the Soap & Glory range is that they smell divine…really! They are a treat for your skin as well as your nose.

I hope you enjoyed this post & let me know if you try any of the products!

L xx
