Jumping on the Rimmel band wagon

I know I may be a little late to this, lots of beauty bloggers have been raving about this product throughout 2012, but I am not one to ‘chop and change’ when it comes to foundations.

I have been using the Bare Escentuals mineral foundation for some time, but recently I’ve felt a pull to try something new. So, listening to the many wonderful reviews I thought I’d give the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation a go, especially as it is currently on offer (£3 off) at Superdrug.

Well, I’ve only been using it for a few days, but it is already a firm favourite. It goes on really smoothly and gives a great coverage, for day or night. I like that your skin feels moisturised and doesn’t have the heavy, caked on, feeling that some foundations can leave you with. It feels light enough for the school run, yet gives me the coverage I want from a foundation.

It certainly leaves you with dewy, fresh-looking skin…Rimmel assures me that it will minimise premature skin ageing (great!) and, with radiance pearls that create a healthy, radiant glow and flawless natural finish, it is certain to win many hearts.

For just £8.99 (currently £5.99 at Superdrug) Rimmel Wake Me Up won’t break the bank, but will give you the benefits of a high-end foundation…what’s not to love?!

The other benefits are that it includes an SPF 15 protection (very important) and the bottle has a handy dispenser pump, meaning there is little wastage (also very important!).

Let me know your favourite foundations, or if you decide to try Rimmel Wake Me Up.
